Catch22’s The Hive is an emotional health and wellbeing co-designed service which supports young people aged 16-24 in Camden.

The Hive team use specialised one-to-one support work and group work delivered by young people (‘1-2-1 support’), to engage other young people during their transition into adulthood, and improve their independence. This 1-2-1 support side of the service can work with up 90 young people at any one time.

Since September 2015 when ‘The Hive’ opened, the service has significantly grown and has earned the trust and respect of Camden young people. Through ‘The Hive’ we support them to improve their lives. They can access help and support with education, employment, housing, sexual health, substance misuse, personal development and health and wellbeing.

In addition to the youth-led 1-2-1 service we also provide targeted activities and a safe space to be, ‘The Hub, which gives open access to all young people in Camden. We also offer training opportunities with our youth-led social enterprise, Underground Camden Tours. This service can work with up to 25 young people at any one time.

‘The Hive’ is a co-designed service, jointly commissioned by Camden Council and Camden CCG, and has become firmly embedded within the Camden service community.

The service is currently working towards a Healthy Futures Award.
